Last year
:: For the first time in many many years we celebrated Russian Christmas, January 7th
:: Grandparents flew across the map 3 times to bake, travel and drink wine together with us.
:: We began travelling, exploring the Bay area and even went as far as Yosemite to keep me on my feet (which thankfully weren't swollen this time around).
:: We learned that one could survive without an indoor bathroom or kitchen. Then 3 months later we finally had them back and could not believe that we did (survive that is).
:: The kids and I (still pregnant) visited NY for Pascha.
:: Masha turned 2, weaned herself, and slowly began talking and growing hair. Was there something in my milk?
:: Leo moved on to second grade and got to spend his summer vacation in NY. He also learned how to hold his breath under water for longer than a minute and finally began swimming.
:: Anya made her debut and Masha slowly accepted her role of an older loving sister.
:: I learned how to get by on 3 hours of sleep and do chores with just one hand.
:: We learned a poem a week together with Leo thanks to his wonderful teacher.
:: Got the best gift on New Years - went to bed at 9.
